GUITAR WORKSHOP „SONGS ON ACOUSTIC GUITAR“ IN SINGAPORE
April 18th, 2020, 3 p.m. there will be a guitar workshop with Peter Autschbach @ club 1880. Topic: How to accompany songs!
Players of all styles are welcome, because this workshop is fun!
We will play two or three well-known songs together and discuss questions like these:
How exactly was the original accompaniment played?
How do I get the best possible sound with my acoustic guitar?
What is the secret of „groove“ when strumming the guitar?
Participants can be at any level of knowledge, from couch guitarists to experts everyone is welcome.
Basic knowledge of chords on the guitar is needed.
Peter Autschbach and singer Samira Saygili will give a concert @ Club 1880 on Saturday evening.
Requirements:
Basic knowledge of the instrument, curiosity and interest in guitar and song accompaniment
Bring:
Acoustic or electric guitar, a plectrum, spare strings, guitar stand, maybe a music stand, paper and pencil.
